This is actually iOS 12 and Mojave. I buy way too much online. I use PayPal, which uses two-factor authentication. So every transaction I get a text with a code.

But with the latest updates, I get a popup asking if I want to insert the code from the message when the text comes in. It's awesome! Works with PayPal, Google, Microsoft, anyone that sends a verification code.

I LOVE it!

Just to confirm ... it works on your laptop (with Mojave) too? I use one online banking site that sends me conformation codes my SMS and my laptop ignores them completely. I've not tried on my phone.

Thanks for that. I also have a late 2013 MBP! I guess it's the format of the text which is confusing this feature. I wish we could configure it ourselves so I could, for example, say "mTAN for your new login:xxxxxx" is an authorisation code.

I'll log a Feedback (as I'm running the 10.14.1 beta).

Depends on your authentication system.

Have not seen yet where you get texted or emailed a code and can enter. But, with my authenticator app (Authy), it does not work this easy. But to be fair, the app says won't work since I've put a passcode on the app. But even then, not a big deal since easy to pull up, copy auth code to clipboard, switch back and paste.

Yes. It works great but don’t think it’s working with All browsers. Works great with safari as expected.

Works perfectly on all my devices.
