I'm pretty psyched, i just got this on eBay, its the Rev. A 1.8Ghz, so its got 8RAM slots, And i'm gonna have that LCD as well as a 17" Dell CRT... I think its gonan be a nice set up, eventually i will upgrade RAM, video card and get a TV tuner

Congrats on your purchase kingcrowing. The Power Mac G5s are just awesome, awesome machines. Enjoy it! :)

Congrats man! Nice set up. I got my first Mac and G5 last week and it's awesome. I can honestly say i'm never going back to windows. :D

congrats! I also have a rev. A single processor 1.8 G5, and even now, 2+ years after its introduction, it's a great, great computer. Got that 900mhz bus, the 8 RAM slots, etc. Should serve you very well. May I ask what you paid (just curious about the current value of my machine)?

edit: oh, and in reference to the site linked above - the OP said his was a rev. A, and the site specifically says, several times, that the problems were NOT present in that model, but only in rev. B (the 600 mhz bus and 4 RAM slot model)
