Hi all

Firstly, I don't yet have my first Mac, but I'm after some advice regarding the best option.

I don't have funds to push the boat out and go for new and my budget is restricted to £250 max.

I've seen and heard a lot about the Mac Mini and I've found a G4 1.42 GHz with 1 GB Ram at a price I can afford, but will it do what I need it too at an acceptable performance.

I need to do general web browsing, email, office apps, as well as the occasional Adobe CS2/CS3 including Illustrator, Fireworks and Dreamweaver.

Is this Mac Mini gutsy enough?

CS3 will be a bit sluggish, but I've run CS2 on slower machines than that without problems. General office apps etc should be fine. I'd say go for it :)
