My first MacOs-System Graphic Card sufficient?

Hi,

due to the lack of Hardware update for the Macbook Pro series I now think about buying a 27 -5k IMAC to get started with app development.

I am a Windows user and I don't have any experience with Mac systems.
I just want to be sure (before paying 2400 Euro for a system) that it is sufficient for my needs and I have absolutely no idea how resources the 5k display requires to render properly and to do also something else.

Things I want to do with my system:

1. ios, tvos, watchos, macos app - development (normal apps, 2d-3d application(3d "basic,semi-advanced 3d rendering)
I code in C++ & OpenGL and with Swift.
2. watching videos, surfing etc.
3. video editing (no 4/5k stuff)/ audio editing

The system I would choose is:

Imac 27 - 5k
3,3 GHZ Processor
8 GB Ram
AMD Radeon R9 M395 2GB Memory


Does anybody have experience with that system combination or knows if this is sufficient?
I really have no idea if the AMD Radeon R9 M395X is worth the additional 300 euro.

For what you want to do the M395 should be more than sufficient. It is only if you do graphics intensive things such as gaming that the extra VRAM in the M395x should make a difference. But overall the is only a 10-15% increase in performance going from M395 to M395x, if my memory serves me right.

Just FYI I am not a developer so others should feel free to correct me.
