is anyone else experiencing this?

she's in new york city and had no problems with the razr but claims to be having a horrible time of it with the iphone. she said she really can't maintain a conversation at all no matter where she is in the city. dead spots everywhere.

i'm in nyc as well, with an iphone (i actually bought our phones together on iDay) and my service is totally fine. no different than what was was getting on my AT&T blackberry.

is any one else having this problem? should she take the phone in to apple?

thanks!

I'm seeing exact same problem.

I and my boss bought iPhone on the iDay.

He was using Razr, I was using Blackberry.

I have never experienced drop calls on iPhone nor Blackberry. And my boss is having problem constant drop calls on his iPhone.

Could this be a hardware problem??

We are in San Francisco financial district.

Hmmm, it sounds like a loose cable connection to the antenna harness or something like that. They should be able to quickly determine if its defective and replace it. You build half a million of anything as complicated as an iPhone and some of them are going to have loose pieces... unless you're extremely good about pokeyoke.

i had the same problem, i called AT&T and spoke to a tech support and they fixed the problem in seconds (They reconnected me to the network)Tell your friend to do the same.
