Lol I actually did have a friend who worked at Microsoft and warned me not to by Vista (before Vista was released) and that a better "real" version of Windows was being released shortly after Vista...

...and Lo-behold....

EDIT: Whats really funny is that at the time I didn't believe him since I figured that MS would have kept Win 7 more under wraps so I bought a PC with Vista thinking the next Windows would have been at least 5 years off...and had so many issues that I turned around and bought a Mac and haven't looked back
