Ok so I'm sitting in my hotel room STRUGGLING to get a wireless connection (there is one but it keeps cutting out). So I got an idea, what if Apple updated their power cords so when they were plugged in they would act as a large external AirPort antenna? What do you think?

$70 power adapter + $179 AP Extreme = A LOT OF MONEY

I see what you mean, and the AP Extreme card isn't fair since you said antenna. I'd figure the power might interfere, but I'm no EE major.

well this is kind of unrelated, but i saw a cool thing by Roger Wireless in my newspaper that is essentially a modem that you plug straight into an outlet, and you have a connection right there; no phone line, and you can bring it anywhere. Forget the [monthly] price, but i can check it if someone wants, but I know that the ad didn't say the speed, besides "hi-speed". anyway hope you're interested... cheers
