My iMac arrived and I took some photos...

So, my 24" 2.4Ghz 750GB iMac finally arrived! After months and months of waiting to upgrade my 1.5GHz Powerbook G4, I'm not disappointed. All those power-users that are moaning be D*MNED

Apart from a problem with the space bar now and again (I'll be calling Apple about this as it's not reliable and therefore not acceptable), I love it, and I took some photos - they're over here...

Ahh, unboxing a Mac and setting it up.

What utter indulgence!

Best done as a day off work, phone off, door locked, no distractions, and savour every minute bonding with it - share luxury!

Do you plan on using the iMac for photography? I've considered getting it, but am unsure because of the glossy screen (which may over-saturate colors and crush black levels).

Those keyboard shots have to small of a focus area.

Yeah I felt the same after I'd taken them but I'd moved on by then... Too carried away enjoying it. Nice and geeky...
