My Imac arrived!

Christ I've never been this happy about a computer in my life before - my imac arrived yesterday and its the 24". Put simply it is enormous and the screen is so good for dvds (I have used this function the most but will have the web on it by Monday all being well. Some of it is yet to arrive. At the moment I still have to use the PC for the web but it really is mediocre in comparison.

My imac came with the following accessories:

airport express (arriving Monday)
belkin wifi adaptor (Monday)
Epson dx6000 printer

ilife and iwork

750GB hard drive
2GB ram
Wireless mighty mouse and keyboard
7600GT graphics card, can't wait to test out with company of heroes
logitech l6 speakers - absolutely brilliant even though they are only 2.1 but sound fantastic combined with the built in speakers

Congrats!

I ordered a custom 24" iMac (upgraded HDD to 500GB and RAM to 2GB) early Friday morning, just minutes after Apple's Black Friday sale started. Much to my surprise, I received shipment notification this morning (so much for 2-4 business days!) and should have the system by Tuesday or Wednesday.

I am still using the iMac G5 1.8 GHz 20".

I'm for sure switching in June / July ... or might wait until September 2007. Only reason I'll be waiting so long ... I want the new Mac OS X installed plus it be a good back to school present hehe.

Is the Belkin wifi adaptor for use with the iMac, instead of using the internal Airport Extreme?

Ah! I did wonder.

I have the same machine but with the standard 250Gb drive. Not yet managed to fill up even half of it. Turns out there isn't actually that much porn on the internet.
