My iMac "chimes" three times when restarting from Windows?

Hey guys! I got my new iMac a couple weeks ago. Everything is great.

But when I'm in Windows, if I select to restart in OSX, my iMac goes to the grey screen and chimes three times instead of once before booting.

Is this bad? Common? Any ideas what it means?

I did a search on here, and there were very few results. Only one thought I outta repair permissions. So, I did that, and there are still the three chimes at restart
