So after getting advice on this site and others, I replaced my hard drive on my imac g5 (pre isight).
But my computer will still recognize the drive as a startup disk and i have no clue what the issue is. I'm convinced t can't be my hard drive. I have reinstalled my OS and it still won't recognize my drive as the startup disk so I can not start my computer in regular mode, only in safe mode (it seems to boot fine any other way as well).
Also, while in safe mode, i notice now that my computer is telling me i have no audio card and no airport.
Any help will be great i have no clue why my computer is doing this but as a writer and a musician, im getting very desperate. I NEED my Mac!
