Lately almost on a daily basis while visiting anything from banking sites, investment sites, or just plain movie listings or TV listing. A warning pops up on screen asking me to call and have my Apple fixed for it has been infected by Bla Bla.....here is one of the numbers that pops up 1-866-292-1546

I just del the page, and ignore it. But I still feel this type of scam is becoming more and more prevalent. Some times I have to force quit the machine to get away from it all.

Try installing the ScamZapper.app and extension to Safari. You can download it from here.

I looked at the ScamZapper site and read many of the reviews posted. Many seemed to be expressing negative reviews. I will hold off. Anyway thanks for your comments.

Are you sure they're false?

I also recommend using Malwarebytes, to ensure your system is clean.
