Hello everyone. I recently started going through all my files on my imac, started going on the internet, and everything was fine up until I tried opening a file and the application didn't respond. eventually I tried restarting my mac, and now it won't get past the loading screen. I don't want to lose any of my files, but I just want to get it working again.
I am currently using Mac OSX Snow Leopard on a 20" iMac which I bought in 2007 - 2008. I have the Snow Leopard installer but I am pretty sure there is a shortcut on the keyboard you need to use to get to the system diagnostics :S If thats where the problem lies, WHAT DO I DO?! :S
