I was holding my iPad today and I noticed it feels better in my left hand than it does in my right. If you don't already hold your iPad in your left hand I think you should try it.

Take note of other conditions: that the sun was not quite out but it was mid-afternoon. I have a ceiling fan on for airflow throughout the living room and I was sitting on a leather couch (allegedly leather) with brown shorts and a black t-shirt on. I didn't have shoes on and maybe that helped the extra level of comfort. I had Alkaline Trio playing in the background.

Yeah I think it sucks that Apple doesn't have better documentation on this.

Thats interesting since a study back in the 90s showed that women preferred holding their Newtons in the left hand. Apple proclaimed this was due to the appeal of the ergonomics of the device and UI design, however the rest of us figured it was simply due to more women being right handed.

Nonetheless; everyone agreed that no one really understood why women do what they do. :)

Would you still advise that to left handed people? There just aren't enough of us around. They say lefties have shorter life spans than righties. Well, of course, since everything is made for right handed people. Righties never know the pain of trying to use scissors, write in a spiral notebook or use a can opener. Don't even get me started how all toilet paper rolls are mounted on the right. Like I can wipe my ass with my right hand.

Even my iPad is biased. Swipe to unlock is made for righties. WHy can't I set preferences. Should I send Steve Jobs an email?

I favor my left for all things but writing. Oddly enough. That is an interesting study.

Oh I would and my TP is mounted on the left in the guest bathroom. Just sayin'.

But you knew that already didn't you cowboy?

And what were you doing with your right hand ... uh, I mean what were you watching on the iPad ...

Hmm, would you mind if I came over to take a dump?

Leave off the last s for sexy. :D

Was your skin glistening and was your hair blowing in the breeze?

I was telling my wife, that I thought all womens restrooms were on the left...and on the right was the men's...but I was proven wrong when I ended up oin the womens restroom....nice couches in there.

not off topic, discussed left, bathroom and right.

Very much so.
I don't need any hands to hold up my iPad.
Let's talk.

Totally, and awesome music was playing in the background.

You need to get out more often.

You need to detect mockery when you see it. ;)
