My iPad was sitting comfortably on a stand next to my laptop about 10 minutes ago. and suddenly it rebooted (?) itself and went into the "white apple" mode. I panicked until about 30 seconds later the lock screen came up again.

It's running on 3.2.1 firmware and has not been jailbroken (yet). Is this normal?

Many thanks in advance,
kchika

Mine has never rebooted on its own before.

My 64 wifi never gives me problems.

My 64 3g sometimes does not turn on from off with the on/off button. I have to press both the on/off and the circle button. I'll be contacting Apple about it today.

Mine spontaneously rebooted while I was composing an email. I hopped in and out of the email as I consulted a webpage, and then it rebooted. I think that's only happened once. The iPad isn't perfect, these quirks happen but are so rare it would be easy to exchange your iPad for another and believe the new one is better because it hasn't acted weird.

As I use mine more than ten hours a day I'm sure I observe more problems than I have in any other device simply because it's always in front of me.
