my iPad Mini 6 came with a 20W USB-C charger in the box (says Model A2305 on the charger itself)

is it the same one that Apple sells for iPhones? MHJA3AM/A on the outside of the box

I guess what I'm asking is whether or not A2305 and MHJA3AM/A are the same charger?

as long as I'm asking... is it normal that both my iPhone 13 Pro and old iPhone 12 Mini get really hot when using this charger? (both the back and the front screen glass) Using a contactless thermometer, it was as high as 136 degrees(13 Pro) and 132(12 Mini)... roughly as hot as the hot water that comes out of my kitchen faucet

You could plug any of those devices into a 2000 watt charger and it would be fine. The “charger” is a just a power supply. It doesn’t do the charging. The charger is built into the phone/iPad.

Yes it is the same charger as you can see both codes on the box, and the iPhone 13 Pro can actually top out at 23W charging.
