iPad My iPad screen feels strange

Hello everyone, 2 days ago, I bought an new iPad 9th gen from Apple authorized seller. However, I am not sure lf the screen is problematic or not. I would really appreciate it if you share your opinion

- Tapping sounds have more firm feeling at the near of edges, but when tapping away from sides, like somewhere at the middle, it feels like it is empty inside.

- The screen seem misaligned at the top left of the screen and have three little screen bleeding at the left as you can see it from attached image.


I don’t know if these are normal for iPad or should I return this device.

The tapping sounds are normal though. Same on the iPhones. Like nothing is there under the screen. Unlike the back of the phone which feels very solid, exactly the opposite than Samsung phones where the front seems very solid and back is so so.

The hollow tapping sound is quite normal for iPads with air gap/non-laminated display.

Thank you for all of your kind answers. I didn’t returned the device since I am traveling a lot lately. I bought this device as a portable workspace and I am in need of it. So, I decided to not return it because they said it could take up to 2 weeks of time.

I know the top Left of the screen is problematic but it doesn’t bother me if I don’t focus on it. So, I don’t think I will return it. That was my first apple device and although I can say that Apple lost its perfect high quality image on me, I am happy with iPad 9th gen overall

The hollow feeling of the display is because it’s non laminated as for the misaligned edge that isn’t normal.
