So I got a iPhone X on Wednesday and 3 days after it died. My phones battery died and I plugged it in the charger. I waited till it was charged to use again and it was frozen, couldn’t swipe to turn it off or answer a phone call. Went to Appel they fixed the screen. One thing that mad me mad is that I payed $40 for a screen protector and they didn’t replace it or anything. Well that my iPhone X story. Bad impressions so far. Anyone experienced this?

48 hours using this device without any problem, my first impressions are great. Is as fast as my iPhone 6 was 3 years ago, very snappy, the screen is fantastic. I don't miss touchid at all, I had read all those comments and watch all those videos about the iPhone X, and I was hesitating spending that amount of money, but once I had the device in my own hands, all those presumptions and prejudgments are gone. This is a great device, I don't even note the notch I portrait mode, but I have to say something, I don't watch videos, take pictures or play video games in a iPhone, just some pictures in rarely occasions, so the notch does not bother me at all, but that does not mean that I agree with that, in fact, I prefer the traditional 90 degree angle for a screen, I don't like rounded corners. I think, this design will be for the next 3 years.
Well, today I wake up with a headache in the center of my head, I hope is caused by the cold season and not for the iPhone x screen, because I really like the device so far. By the way, I will not update this device as I did with other devices, this one will stay with 11.2.

I’ve had my iPhone X for 5 days now and everything has been perfect. Face ID is incredible. I don’t mind the notch. I kind of wish there was an iPhone X Plus but that will come later.

I’ve had my X for half a week and it has been a wonderful experience so far. I thought my 6S was my favorite iPhone until I got the X. Screen is amazing and the speed is awesome. Camera is kickass and FaceID has worked flawlessly even in complete darkness.. I couldn’t be happier

I bought 1 screen protector on eBay for $ 3.00 and was finger print magnet, it was suppose to be oleophobic. After 3 hours on my phone I had to removed it, that was money throw to the trash. Can you recommend something that has good oleophobic coating?
Certainly, basically look on amazon for what you like, doublecheck for olephopic coating, and check user reviews, number and avg stars.

If they replaced the screen after 3 days because the phone died, then clearly something was wrong with that unit.

Ah well it’s electronics goods, sometimes it breaks. I use mine naked, no issues with screen protectors that way and a nice and smooth experience.
I’m sure the repaired version will be great. I’ve had mine for nearly two months now and it’s a solid phone.

That’s basically what I did with my phone. I couldn’t imagine paying that much. But I think the reason ppl do is they have a hard time putting one on their phone without messing up. So they pay $40 to have someone else do it essentially.
At 3 days out, you should have gotten a new phone as well as a new screen protector.
