No. Not jail broken. Both done but still the same.

If you aren't jailbroken, how did you get the carrier to display as MY MAXIS? I would love to change mine, just not interested in jailbreaking it haha.

Looks like it's from here: https://www.maxis.com.my

It's probably their carrier.

If you've completely restored it via iTunes, and set up as a new phone (no backup) and it drops half the battery in 10 minutes. Make sure you let it actually die and charge it back up.

But it sounds like a hardware problem to me. Likely a bad battery. I had one in a 4s that died at 30% or so. Not as bad as this. But I replaced it myself for $8 and it was good as new. Not a software issue.

If you have it under warranty, take it in/send it to Apple. If not, look into a replacement. It's not terrible to do yourself on the iPhone 5/5c. I've done it a few times. But I do this a lot. Perhaps a third party service place could help you out?

I highly doubt it would be the small 8.1.3 update. These things happen a lot. People with BlackBerry Q10's constantly blame the keyboard double type on a software update, but it's hardware as well. Just coincidence IMO.
