My Iphone Got Stolen-help !!

ok guys like the title says my iphone got stolen....now i wanna know if i call my service provider(ROGERS) and cut the line can i still track my phone?
i didnt remote wipe it yet because the phone is locked with the 4 digit code thing...i have a backup bb 8900 with a new sim ill just tell them to switch the line on my new sim...but i want to know if the phone can still be located? any help would be really appreciated....thanks

Keep the service active until you locate it on find my iPhone, mobile me needs the service to be active. Then after you get it back or don't call Rogers and do w/e you need to do.
