iPod My iPod Can't Turn Off!

I have a 5th gen iPod. Have had it since it was new.

I have a problem right now. I can't turn it off. I hold the Play button and nothing happens. I reset the iPod and then try to turn it off and it still won't turn off! Any other options that I can try??

Let the battery die.

Mine done that once. Put it on like a video (to run the battery down quicker) and let it play until it dies. Then charge it and it'll work again

try a restore in itunes.

Try holding Menu and the play/ pause button, it'll reboot. Hope that helps ^-^
