What do I do. My itunes, newest version, will not recognize or sync my ipod classic 30 g.

Error message "The ipod "XXXX" cannot be synced. The required folder cannot be located."

What is the required folder. I had this since 12-2005 and never had this problem.

I can't restore it to origional, since the itunes software does not recognize it.

What is this Folder?
