Alright so to start out with this I had that red x error that I managed to get rid of from doing violent method (I really didn't want to pay for a new one cause of money so that's the only option I could do) so it got it to work, but after like about 4 days I get this error yesturday wehre it ejects just fine but my ipod says there are no videos or music on my ipod, but when I put it on itunes, all my music and all my videos are there (ironically my photos appear just fine) as if there's nothing wrong with the ipod
I would of restored my ipod but I wanted to backup my videos with senuti by only 130 songs appeared (none else showing) so I couldn't back it up and I dont have it anywhere else.
I did try switching songs a bit and I heard that gets it back, but that didn't do any good.
I was also suggested to use Yamipod to fix it, but it kept saying to quit iTunes when I already did and even restarting didnt'; do a thing.
So uhhhhhhhhhhh ya let's just say i'm screwed and I have no idea what to do.
How can I get my ipod to be normal with this whole music/video thing and if there isn't any other way other than to restore it (or that's the only idea you know of). HOw can I back it up effectively without any problems so then I can restore it and add my content all back? Any suggestions you can think of even if they aren't a solution that apple themselves would say would be great!!!
I have an ipod classic generation 6 it hold 80 GB
EDIT: Do you think if I try some program to boot off of instead of the normal OS like using ipod linux or something similiiar (well I know ipod linux won't work with my ipod but still something like it) do you think that could help get rid of some of the problems. and if you think it does which ones?
