Just thought I'd share my experience that I had with my second generation iPod today. I was going through some old electronics in my house, and I stumbled upon my old iPod. At first I tired to listen to some music, but the battery was dead, and the buttons were all sticky, so thought it may have been broken. But after cleaning it, and finding a firewire 400 cable to charge the thing, it booted right up. It was really nice to see that after all these years, the iPod still works perfectly. I don't think I'll use it at all, but I found a new appreciation for my iPhone, cause we really have come a long ways. It was very amusing to hear the hard drive spinning up in it! :D
