So, I am a doctor in a hospital complex. and here, most people are issued a sim card and apps that work best with an iPhone. And oh my god my coworkers hate that. but the real ideocracy here is that at the same time, these apps only work with pc, so every computer we use is a pc (oh, and people who have an android phone (due to anger) don't even know that they can link their phone with the pc)

so,,, please don't try to match iPhones with pcs

iPhones work fine with PCs. There are things you can do with a Mac that you can’t with a PC (messages on computer, handoff, AirDrop, continuity camera) and things that are much easier to set up on a Mac than on Windows (hotspot, iCloud photos, contacts, calendar). But as said before, lots of people successfully use PCs with iPhones every day. Many of them because they have to - like you, there are application issues that require Windows.

I’d expect (though I don’t have direct experience with it) that there’s no particular benefit to Android with a PC, since Android is Google and PC is Microsoft. So the experience with Android & iPhone, as they relate to the PC in particular, is probably similar.

I’ve been using an iPhone with a PC, quite successfully, since 2008.

I’d like to help. Could you please explain, in concise terms, exactly what your problem is?

I use an iPhone with a PC and have been doing this for years.......no desire at all to ever get a Mac. What's the problem with that?

I read this and all I wonder is how badly this hospital is handling patient data.

Incidentally in my sector, finance, it's almost entirely PCs and Microsoft apps / policy on iOS.

Hell I mostly use a PC myself these days too personally speaking.

I'm a sysadmin for a US government data center. We use PCs and iPhones too, and they match just fine.

Next thread.

They deleted my comment about the post being fake….what does that tell you? Off topic or not….does it really matter about the topic if this isn’t a post from a human? I think it’s pretty on topic.
Or maybe..., just maybe... (just a thought) you should not throw around accusations without prove? Claiming a post is fake, or not from a human for instance?

Maybe….just maybe…..you should not make assumptions about what you haven’t read. Just a suggestion.

I did not assume anything. I have read your post I reacted to.
See below.
Which is still there, where you literally make the unproven claims (fake and not human) I was referring to.

You did not read the deleted post.

If this post is so real….where is the OP? Where is the response? My original post asked this question as there have been several of these I’ve seen and so have others. Why is it so hard to think this could be a bot post? Are you not aware of bots and fake content on the internet? Then MR deletes my post instead of responding to it. I am not the first person to ask this question and have the post removed without any response. It’s a serious question that needs some answers. Either MR is using bots to generate traffic or bots are invading the forum and that needs to be addressed. Instead of responding it’s easier to delete and pretend nobody saw anything.

Again: I was not referring to your deleted post. Your wild conspiracy theories mean nothing without foundation and/or prove. Also they are indeed off topic.
I am not playing along with your accusation game. Have a nice day.

I would think a call to the salesman/supplier would likely net a in person training session for the doctors having issues with their products, and more training in its use.

Also sounds like the hospital defaults to thinking everyone has an iPhone, but will also supply for Android if asked. So ask, instead of thinking you are forced to buy an iPhone.

And the issues people are having linking their phones to the PC do not seem like they are limited to any OS, so back to a training session again.
