Hi everyone!
I'm an LG phone user and after I've tried iphone 12,13 and s23 Ultra - the s23 U for 58 days, I've finally switched to Motorola Edge 40 Pro with SD 8 Gen 2 - 256 Gb and 12 GB Ram.
I'm making this thread for users who want to try other phones. The 165Hz is Genuine, you will not go back to 120 or lower refresh rates. This phone display is just amazing. The speed, refresh rate and also DC DIMMING for low brightness is just at the very top.
I'm starting this topic just to tell everyone that outdoor brightness, battery life

and cameras are not the most important things in looking for the best smartphone possible.
My last 10 years of phone experience is:
1. Nothing, absolutely nothing at this moment can touch LG V60 ThinQ MAIN and selfie cameras in photos aaaand in videos.
2. Best battery life of any amartphone is the LG V60 and LG V50 made in Korea.
3. Best screen on the planet is the one in the Moto Edge 40 Pro. Screen brightness 2500 nits vs 600 nits is just like a 5% difference , but the 165Hz is a thing you need to try and you will never look back to 120 Hz!!!
4. Best speakers on any phone and also 3.5 mm jack output is on the LG V series phones, speakers the V60.
5. Stop believing that the smartphone cpu is doing the HEVC video encoding like 4k 60fps HDR10+ or Dolby Vision. This is so false. This processing is done in the camera IC integrated chip! Best ones seems to be on the LG Innotek ones. Iphones and LG devices uses those for sure.
6. Best UI software is on the LG UI 10 and maybe Samsung OneUI 6. Stock android is also nice, but not in the agenda and call apps where you require more taps to get the job done.
7. SD 8 Gen 2 is genuine regarding speed and battery life, just like sd 865 was, but i don't see implementations like was the 865 in the v60 or in the note ultra.
more in the next post...

‘LG spokesperson has entered the chat…’ 😏

LG phones and software so good….that they killed the entire program 2 years ago.

Forgive me if I can’t quite take your opinions too seriously.

Some of us actually use our devices. I get 7 hours a day SOT on my Pixel Fold on Android 14 and nearly 10 hours on my S23U. I don't let my phone idle for days without charging. It goes on a wireless charger every night when I go to bed (usually with plenty of battery life remaining) and is full by the morning.

My last LG was the V10. And although battery life wasn't the best, it was a damn good phone for it's time. And the separate display strip on top was actually useful.

Never been interested in LG since. They seem to do heavy marketing on how great the camera is, but when compared to other smartphones, always come up short.
