MY LG Optimus Dynamic II

does anyone have this same phone ? i need some help !
this smart phone stuff is all new to me, my loving son gave me this phone so we can keep in contact with each other more often.

when i turn it on i see a bunch of icons at the top of the screen, what are they for and what do they do ? he says "just play with it, you can not hurt anything" so when i do click on one, i still am in the dark.

also, i have been using it to take pictures, got over 200 so far, can i down load them to my computer then store them on a "Thumb Drive" ?

that is all i have for now, but i'll be back with more Q's ? as time goes on.

Yes.

Do you have mac or PC?

If Mac, download Android File Transfer. Connect phone, browse phone for its DCIM folder, drag it to your computer or directly over mounted USB thumb drive.

i am new to this Droid stuff and "smarter-than-me-phones"

or did i download anything ?
