Appropriate, no?

Anyway, I just noticed from a distance that there was a red light coming from my Mac Pro 1,1 case.

I opened it up and it was very festive in there indeed.

ALL of the lights on the the RAM risers were on, plus two of the CPU lights (right side CPUa and CPUb).

However, everything was working fine and all RAM and CPUs were showing up as working in System Report so I jut shut it down.

Even when it was off, the CPU lights stayed lit. But when I restarted it they went off, and everything was back to normal again.

Weird, eh? Should I be worried?

There may have been a small power outage, not long enough to kill it, but long enough to lose the time on the oven in the kitchen.
