This doesn't help him when you still have 98% after 91 cycles, haha.
Doesn't 98% after more than a year of use sound good to you?My MacBook is on 98% capacity with 29 cycles and have for 14 months. Is this battery capacity is normal?
Only if you have the optimized battery on or use programs to keep it at around 80%. If you keep it topped off all the time then that leads to degradation of battery.Keeping your device plugged in a lot generally leads to good results on cycle count/capacity readings.
Well, I guess my factory installed battery is still rapidly degrading after 7 years.Only if you have the optimized battery on or use programs to keep it at around 80%. If you keep it topped off all the time then that leads to degradation of battery.
Well yeah but I have it plugged in 90% of the time... :/This doesn't help him when you still have 98% after 91 cycles, haha.
Looking at OP's #, it seems like he has it plugged in most of the time too. Otherwise, he's cycle would've been much higher during the 14 mo. Maybe he has it plugged in too muchWell yeah but I have it plugged in 90% of the time... :/
8 months and 2 weeks is roughly 260 days - how do you end up with 628 cycles??8 months 2 weeks since taking delivery of my MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021, M1 Max) and I'm at 85% capacity with 628 cycles.

Draining and fully recharging the battery more than 2 times every day?
