Well, the honeymoon is over I suppose.

My new MacBook forgets programs, settings, blah de blah after a restart consistently, even after two re-installs of OS X.

Does anyone know why my computer would erase Widgets, My DivX Pro registration, Dock Settings, Applications, etc after every restart? Did I instal some malware? Is my HardDrive a goner?

Are you logging in with the same account?
Are you manually changing the name of your User folder? (PS: Never do that)

There is some critical thing that is happening, or that you are doing, that you haven't told us. Need much more information to hazard a guess.
