OMG! OMG! OMG!....I am so excited! it shipped out of Shanghi today at 145pm there time....

When does everyone suspect it will be here?

I cant wait!

I also just got a new phone the Samsung A900...It has bluetooth and I can use it as a modem for the internet when I am out...DOes anyone have a link on exactly how to do that with this phone?

I ordered the same spec as you and it's tracker looks like this. It seems to have done nothing over the weekend or it's the tracker being stupid. I'm in the UK though, not sure what it's like your end. (the last date on each line is the ETA - though proabably from kuehne and nagel to the other delivery company flextronics.) Waiting sucks.

Mine tacking doesnt look like yours...Mine is shipping Fedex and it just has ...

and then at the top it has shipping date june 5th and it doesnt have a ETA...I am curious...the one on Apple said june 13th but hopefully it will be here before then...
 
I ordered my 17" MBP stock on May 30, with an estimated ship date of June 8th. After calling and complaining and sending an email, my MBP shipped from China on June 1st (Thursday) with the 2-3 day shipping option. It still had an ETA of June 6th. Last night I checked my tracking and it told me that my MBP was in Memphis over the weekend (that was a Sunday). This morning i went up and went to school and before class i was checking my schedule of classes and got an idea that I would check to see if it had moved or better yet, even arrived in Shreveport, my local distribution center, and then from there it would probably come to Monroe the next day (Tuesday). What did I find, my MBP had bypassed the district D/C all togeter and was ON THE TRUCK FOR DELIVERY! I had a friend come to the house to sign for it while i was in class, and today when i came home for lunch @ 11:30 i had a nice brown box sitting on my kitchen table. I love my new MBP and it is so great that i got it before its even estimated ship date. Even more happy to report there is no whine, now uneven lighting, no flaws WHAT SO EVER. I'm so happy with my new 17" MBP, thanks apple, again, for another great product. May 04 i switched, and now i'm happy with my 3rd Mac.
 
i didn't know their was a plant in Shanghi, if i would have known i would stopped by while i was their... excuse me, do you mind if you make mine now so i don't have to wait for the shipping ..... ;)

So DOes anyone know how to use a samsung a900 as a internet modem on these computers? any way I could get step by step instructions? thanks!
 
tee hee my laptop is finally on its way from North London to me in the South (as of this morning 5 AM only a few hours to go :D:D:D)
 
Apple's shipping to europe (in my case UK) is god awful.
I ordered MBP 17 on day of release, took mine 13 days to get to me. Other MBP's that shipped the same day arrived in the US in 3 days!!!!!!
They use 3 carriers to uk, my mbp spent 4 days in amsterdam, presumabely getting stoned and having sex with prostitues!!!!

And an update on shipping should be here tommarow BEFORE 1030 AM...

Thats what the fedex tracking screen says...

It went from Shanghi to Ankorage in 1 day and then Ankroage to Indianapolis in 1 day and then will be here tommarow in 1 day..

THAT IS ONLY 3 DAYS FOR SHIPPING! And I got the 5-7 Day shipping option...(which ever was free or the cheapest!) YAY!!!:)
 
I love online order tracking, except I'm so dissapointed. I just ordered a plasma and all I got was "BDI_ENROUTE_SPECIAL". Nothing more. How lame is that?!!
 
I got my 17 mbp yesterday, but I have to say the shipping for the uk seems to be really awful in comparison to what the US buyers seem to get. Our tracking service on the apple store online is stupid as well.

However I do love my mbp and being my first mac (of my own, not just the occasional use of my dad's in the US) I'm so impressed. Front row is so cool. though I think that maybe a 15 inch would have been a tiny bit more practical for taking about (I wouldn't want to take this into university) - but it is much prettier and about the same weight as my dell 5150 if not lighter. certainly quieter. :D:D:D

Wait did I miss something here? lol... About the same weight as your Dell desktop? eh? I would hope it's lighter!
 
If you want to hear a story about delivery that sucks just ask me... I ordered a 15" CTO MacBook Pro on the 19th May I'm still waiting for delivery. Apple Australia are a complete joke! :rolleyes:
 
Mine arrived today and instantly connected itself to my wireless network I am now posting on this forum just a couple minutes after intial start up! It is an amazing piece of machinary...very well built! LOVE IT!!!


O by the way...this thing is FAAAAASSSSTTTT!
 
And everyone who dobts the matte screens color.....this thing looks like a sony plasma tv....all ya have to do is go to system prefrences and bump up the brightness a little from the stock settigns and the colors are AMAZING...and best of all NO GLARE!!!
