My MacBook turned off itself

So today, I was at a meeting, typing some stuff on my MacBook Pro M1 and it suddenly turned off. Battery was around 90%. Straight from everything on to black screen. Couldn't do anything, no reaction to any keys, even the power on one. After I closed it, opened and then pressed the power on key it turned on (not woke up). Do you have any idea what could've happened? Not sure if I should contact Apple...

Normally it powers down on its own for some unrecoverable system issue, but in this case you get a message when you restart. Did you have such a message?

Where can I find those? That's my first ever mac experience, heard it's super stable ?

No, I didn't get anything, turned on as nothing ever happened.

Probably speak with Apple then, especially if it happens again.

Weird. On my intel mini 2018, Big Sur is very stable. Much better than Catalina etc. Is it not for you?
