Please help if you can but just yesterday my macbook stopped automatically taking in discs after they are inserted just under half-way in (as per the usual method). Now there is a resistance to discs and i have to push them in manually, and even when they are completely inside the drive will not notice that they are there. So I have to restart my macbook at this point and that is when the drive starts spinning the disc that is inside. I have tried resetting the pRAM numerous times but with no luck... so please does anyone have any advice?

bring it in to authorized apple repair center.

While macs have amazing reliability rates. which are actually at the top of the industry, there are still problems that need to get fixed.

gluck. shouldnt be too hard.
