Oct. 14, 2006 - my MacPro arrived. :) Took me almost 6 hours to get everything copied over to it from my PC and update/install things but now its done and its mighty sweet. Ive yet to install bootcamp on it but the firmware update is in so I think the SATA issue wont be a problem. I'm kinda shocked how long it takes this thing to boot. Alot longer then I expected but it shines when in full swing in OSX. Exporting something in H264 is an absolute joy and I have many things to convert to QT. I'm very satisfied with my decision, and im loving my X1900XT :D Thank you Bank for the loan, thank you Apple for the product, and thank you Macrumors for getting all my pre-purchasing questions out of the way.

Mine doesn't take very long to boot (into OS X). Windows takes a while to fire up but OS X loads very quickly.
I'm glad you're liking your new Mac!!

Terrible Photo but here you go:

Ill be sure to show my others later.

On the whole order thing it was an absolute nightmare. I got the X1900XT so it took like 5 days to ship or more. Took about 6 days to arrive, but previously i had made my order but they cancelled it because my returning iMac 24in wasn't credited back to my account yet. All in all its been almost a month since i first purchased my iMac, returned it, ordered a MacPro, it was cancelled, then finally made my current purchase which arrived yesterday. I basically sat and almost died of excitement for a month. Its here now though so im happy :) Its all good.
