Hi Guys,

I'm looking into the youtube video right now. No other applications other than safari is open. When I'm playing the videos, the cpu temperature goes to 70-75 degrees. The fan rotates at 6000 rpm. I checked these readings using iStat. When I pause the video, the temperature drops down to 55 degrees with fan at 1800 rpm. When I play the video again the fan speed and temperature shoots up.
Anyone faced this?

70-75 degrees is not even close to being bad. People get too scared while just watching their temperatures. Relax it is normal. Sh*t I am ripping DVD's and my Macbook goes into the 90's sometimes.

Geez, man. I'm watching youtube videos and burning a DVD and my temp is only 60 C.
