Hi,

Mi MBP is feeling jerky. Sometimes it freezes for a few seconds and then comes back. Some CS3 apps quit ramdomly. I have 2GB ram and It has been doing fine until yesterday when I installed Uno and Safari 3 Beta (has anyone had issues after installing safari?). I opened itunes and I could not access my library, only the itunes store. I had to download itunes again and install it to get it fixed.

I verified permissions and checked the disk but it all was fined. What can I do to diagnose the problem?

I would hate to reinstall the mac OS again. I just did it about a month ago when I upgraded to cs3 and added 1GB of ram. It has been fine until this week.

thanks

Try uninstalling Safari 3 (which would leave Safari 2) and see how things work.

UNO has been know to cause problems with iTunes, what version of UNO do you have? The latest one?

my mbp sometimes feels like this after running parallels for a bit. but a normal restart just fixes this. safari could be the culprit but i doubt it. a fresh install of it could do something..

Yes I have the latest version that I just downloaded. I uninstalled it now but I had to reinstall itune. I will see how it behaves form now on.

If thing does not improve, download Onyx. It's an app that helps you give maintenance to your system. It might help.
