so i guess the video card is way gone, or possibly the logic board, which is what the head tech at the apple store said.

i guess whenever i let it sleep for over an hr, and then you wake it, the screen goes all nuts, little rectangles all multi-colored, and they all are pulsating.

anyone else had this happen to them yet. i just had to send mine in today.

im not excited to get a replacement honestly, mine had no buzzing issues, no display problems, it was perfect before this little problem.

I let mine sleep and its fine. That is really strange, I hope Apple sends you a new one in a timely fashion!

yea i hope they send a replacement quick.

im just worried about the display brightness problems and dead pixels, things of that sort, since mine was perfect.

I [think] I have the processor whine... its so faint I can tell if its just the HDD. I am debating weather I want to complain. Probably not worth it unless it threatens the integrity of my computer.

the whine is a small buzz, right under the keyboard. if you turn one of the cores off, it goes away.

Have you tried running the Mirror Widget? I think that fixes this problem.

after replacing the logic board, i get about 9 kernal panics a day.
