I currently have a HTC running Windows mobile, and use a handy app called My Mobiler which allows me to control the HTC from my laptop. (Phone is connected via usb lead)

I am considering getting an iPhone and would like to know if there a similiar application to My Mobiler available for it?

I find it very useful while I'm at work as I can connect the phone, then browse it and write texts etc, using my mouse and keyboard.

I heard about veency for iphone. Looks like you get about the same thing, but of course, phone has to be jailbroken

Veency works fairly well, but there are a few problems I ran into.

1. I could easily out-type it where I would have to type slow or the iPhone would miss characters.

2. Auto-correct is still enabled so if you type a word correctly that's not in the dictionary, you still have to click the X to disable it. I believe there is a way to turn off auto-correct temporarily but I haven't looked into it.

3. I couldn't get copy/paste to work. This was the biggest deal killer for me.
