My monitor doesn't recognize the USB C port on the right side

I have an M1 Macbook pro 2021 16inch.

When I connect an external monitor to the USB-C port on the right side of my Macbook, no picture appears on the monitor. The macbook starts charging, though.

When I connect the same monitor with the same cable to either of the two usb-c ports on the left, the picture appears on the monitor.

Is it still under warranty?

Do you have a brick n mortar Apple Store anywhere near?
If so, take it to them and let them look at it.

It was a cable problem after all. I got another cable and it's all good.
