My monitor screen is dirty. How do I clean the screen?

With a slightly damp microfiber cloth(regular water) and then wipe over with a dry microfiber cloth. Works better than any screen cleaning product you can buy.

You can use an eyeglass cleaner that is free of alcohol and won’t scratch glass. etc. and a microfiber cloth.

I use a product called "screen mom" on anything with a display. Works fantastic and years on there have been no issues so I trust it.

Wow, I used microfiber with a slightly water. That works!

You can't clean that glass unfortunately without taking it apart.

Taking the glass out is pretty easy for old model (2009~2011)
The hard part is cleaning all the nicotine stains on the glass, and the surface of the LCD display.

If I remember correctly vinegar and/or ammonia are the two go-to solutions for nicotine-stained glass.

I can confirm that ammonia WILL do damage to the anti-glare coating on the inner display.
