My New Air shipped with flash installed

11.6" 1.4ghz 2gb ram. arrived today 1 day early.

first thing I did was installed chrome. next thing was opened up a 1080p hd video in youtube expecting to have to install flash. Oops, loaded right up... Opened up hulu.com played a video no problem. flash was already installed. perhaps they did some testing on mine? anyway, thought it was interesting

Try the same thing on Safari. You will have to load Flash.

There is no need to delete this since your question was completely relevant. Someone else may be thinking about the same as you do and possible even reading this thread.

Per someone in another thread, I bookmarked chrome://plugins and use it to turn Flash on and off as needed. I love having the CHOICE! Love this 13 inch Air.

I politely disagree. The first I thing installed was also chrome and it did not play youtube until I installed the latest flash version.

I politely disagree. Chrome comes with flash. It is only for Chrome though, if you want to watch flash in safari you will still need to download the plugin.

It is included in Chrome but you still have to install Flash for other browsers. Did you download the normal version or some kind of developer/beta or older version?
