Does anyone else have issues where, upon opening folders in Finder, nothing shows up (i.e. the contents of a folder)? Sometimes the files do show up, but the text is this distorted, bolder version, and nothing is clickable?

Whether the files show up or not, I can still use cmd+a, cmd+c, etc. to move files around.

The only workaround I've been able to find is just using killall Finder in Terminal whenever it happens, and having the folder already open when I do it.

I've been having this issue since around the GM release of Yosemite, and a complete reformat and reinstall of the final Yosemite release has not solved the issue.

I've been having this problem since PB4. A clean install of the final release helped but it still happens occasionally.

A quicker way to fix it when it happens is to resize the sidebar slightly i.e. hover the pointer over the line between the main window and sidebar and drag it left and right a bit.

The contents will show and things will be clickable again.

Sometimes it might take an extra shake of the bar, but generally it works.

Do you use the icon view mode in Finder? If so, switch to one of the other view modes.

Thanks for the suggestions! Either of those is easier than pulling up Terminal.

I have this issue now too, I started thinking that my hard drive is about to break! Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
