Cool, that's what I hope to do after I unload my 20" 2.16 iMac in a day or two. Just a slight bump, but I'm also going to pick up a 2GB stick to make it 3GB total.

How do you find the speed compared to the MacBook? Have you tried any video editing with it?

I have 2 gb memory in the macbook. They seem similar but I haven't done any video editing yet. For my tastes it seems plenty fast even with the 1gb memory. I did order a second 1gb chip which will be here Friday. Then I'll know more.

I haven't had an Imac previous to this so I can't compare but this screen is incredibly bright!!!

Yeah, I noticed that at the Apple Store last night but I like it.

I do as well. I like a really bright screen. I've seen alot written so far about the glare from the screen but I have it right next to outside windows in my house and I'm not having a problem with that.

I believe aluminum is not magnetic, so it makes sense that the remote doe not attach like the old imac. Not a big deal, as on my core Duo imac the remote tended to fall of anyway.
