When I put a memory in the second RAM socket that happens but if you just put memory in the first socket is working properly.Mac mini is now in the repair service because Apple would not change the unit for 14 days have passed.

Your mini is likely fine, the 3 beeps suggests the RAM is defective. Is this the OEM RAM or did you upgrade it yourself?

Okay. Well, that's annoying, and you have my sympathy...

... but these things happen. Apple are fixing it. Not really anything to make noise about in my opinion, with all due respect.

Is this the OEM RAM.The mac only starts when you have a ram memory inserted into the first socket of RAM .When I insert it in the second RAM socket issues these 3 beeps.I've tried other ram memory and this works on the first socket but not the second socket so it is a motherboard problem.

Did this issue happen randomly one day or only after you opened up the case and started to fiddle w/ the RAM?

It's certainly possible you rec'd a machine w/ a bad solder and took a few days to finally deteriorate to a point where it shorted out. I'm just trying to pin point the circumstances surrounding your first encounter w/ the problem.

I had a similar issue before but it was due to defective RAM. Once I put in a different stick all was good
