My New MBP M4 Pro 48GB

I am planning to get the same machine, could you test if there is coil whine under load by listening closely in the middle of the keyboard?

we have one coming in a few days for my wife. I‘l get her m1 to replace my 2019 intel. I probably keep the Intel Mac and play with some Linux VM’s

I know it might be late to report this but I just got mine and I can only hear a faint whine while running LLMs locally or GPU benchmarks. I really have to put my ear against the laptop to hear it but it is there. MBP M4 Pro 14/20 version, 16 inch. Mind me asking if you ended buying it? Does your have it? I think it only happens during really heavy GPU usage.

I could hear some whine when doing benchmarks, and also when i first launched Lightroom.
But during normal tasks it was less then with my M3 Pro, when using power it was more audible.
