iPod My new Nano already broken!

The thing was working fine until just now. I turned it off and turned the "hold" button to red so it wouldn't turn on in my pocket while I was getting a haircut. When I went to go turn it back on nothing happened. Yes I turned "hold" off. It had a full charge too. Also when I plug it into my computer nothing happens. I'm pissed, this is my first Apple purchase and the thing only lasted a day... LAME.

toggle the hold switch a couple times, then hold the center button and the menu button at the same time (could be up to 30 seconds)...

If that doesn't work you have a dud and should get a replacement...

Ya, all it needed was a reset. It didn't even know that they could be reset like that, this my first iPod. All is good now.
