Need a place to tell my story, maybe i'll feel better afterwards ;)

So at first everything was fine. They fit very well and ANC worked great!
One day, one of the airpods just lost it's charge completely, while being in the case! Luckily putting it in for 5min was enough to use it again.

Then suddenly last week, ANC was going crazy. Both APs now sound like there is a windstorm, as long as ANC is activated...
So i tried fixing it with Apple over the chat. (Resetting, Pairing again, etc...) Nothing worked. So they sent me some replacement Airpods. (separate, without a case) Was very happy how fast the process was.

But now i can't get the replacement Airpods to connect together to my phone. The light just always flashes amber and never gets white. I can try the same thing with each one separately and they connect fine, but then the iPhone thinks they are 2 different sets of AirPods. As soon as i put them in the case together, i can no longer get rid of the amber flashing light. I tried everything i could find on the internet and some people had the same problem with the old Airpods. But no solution that would work.

Guess i have to contact the support again.... and send back all 4 of them.. I think i'll insist to send back the case too.

What a waste of time...

Yeah, definitely contact Apple support. Just guessing but, could it be a new set of ear buds needs to be paired to the case.

Ditto in my own experience - amber light non stop etc. The replacement earbuds I got were on diff firmware versions.

Connect them individually - one bud at a time so you should see two APPs connected to your phone at the same time.
Then put back in the case and wait for them to update to same firmware version

This worked for me.
