Hello.

Two months ago, my harddrive in my iMac failed after 1 year and 3 months in my possession. No AppleCare so that cost me about $440 to get repaired. Yay.

Now this is my problem. I did not have backups on a few mp3s I recorded (I spent approximately 20-30 hours on creating these), so the only backup I have left are on my iPhone. Syncing my iPhone with my new harddrive will erase these mp3s, so I can basically not listen to any new music until I feel I can dispose of these mp3s.

Is there any way for me to recover these mp3s? I cannot simply re-record them.

Senuti. That will work fine with your iphone.

I tried downloading Senuti and it says "Connect an iPod". Connecting my iPhone does nothing.

Now I have also tried downloading SharePod which was recommended in another thread for use with iPhone. It can't find my iPhone either.

EDIT: SharePod works after having connected the USB cord to my computer ;)
