I ended up returning two size 10 solo loop bands (black and green). I loved them - they felt great and fit just right on my wrists. They were my new favorite bands. I measured a 9.5 on the measuring tape and was glad I had a size 10. A smaller size would be too small. But for some reason, both bands were irritating my skin when I wore them - almost like an alergic reaction - on both of my wrists. That’s never happened to me before. Bummer.
So I returned them both to the Apple Store and tried on a Size 10 braided solo loop. It was clearly bigger and too loose on my wrist. I tried on a size 9 braided solo loop and it fit just right. After two days of wearing it, it still fits just right and is even more comfortable than the regular solo loop for me.
So based on my very limited experience, the braided solo loop runs a size larger than the silicone solo loop bands. Your mileage may vary. $100 for just a stretchy band - holy crap. But I love it anyway.
