Tried to synch my phone tonight to a different playlist. When i hooked up to iTunes it said it couldn't sync the new music because there was no room left. But there was also no music on it. There were only a few pictures and the rest of the memory was taken up with 'other'. Any help? Thanks!

Unless you've got millions of text messages, voice mail, etc., who knows?

Just restore it, like iBookG4user said. :)

I'm pretty sure that space is dedicated for text messages, voice mail, and all that. That's why you can't have more than a specific amount of texts.

Probably. I just don't understand how a phone could fill up with 'Other'.

yea i was going to say that ^. Maybe if you hacked it you forgot to lockdown, putfile Services.plist? I know when i hacked mine wrong a few times it would only show 300 MB of memory and i would have to restore it.

No hacks. No text messages. Maybe five e-mails w/ no attachments, and a few voicemails. The capacity bar just reads 5.98 of 'other,' and 78.6MB of photos. I guess I'll go w/ the restore. Thanks for all the advice.
